summer exhibition

In May 2016, it has been 60 years since the first Finnish Arctic expedition started their crossing of the Greenland ice sheet. This historic milestone was to be followed by several other expeditions. 2016's summer exhibit presents the last 60 years of Finnish Arctic expeditions and research.

The exhibit also showcases Nanoq's 25 years of operation, as well as museum founder Pentti Kronqvist's trips over the past 45 years.

The summer exhibit is open May 20 - September 15, 2016.
